Lun is an interesting creature. Around Wufei, she is open and friendly; around other dragons, she is relaxed and amicable, but around his family, she is snotty and quick to insult...when she deems them worthy to speak to, that is. She has felt this way since she was a hatchling, because of the behavior of Wufei's twin sister, Meiran. Meiran felt that the egg should have gone to her, and made no small task of making sure Wufei knew this well. As a result, Lun's attitude toward Meiran is only slightly below hostile, and she only grants the girl grudging respect because she is Wufei's twin. As for the rest of the family, their pompous behavior and adhesion to tradition and lineage both baffles and frustrates her. She would much rather a person's worth be determined by their successes and failures, not by their blood relatives. Though she does have an interest in local history and customs, it is more cosmetic; she would rather observe than participate, and does not take too kindly to being included in Wufei's family's expectations of her behavior.

Lun's breath weapon is actually a sonic weapon. She can generate a loud, keening wail--the Banshee Scream. The Banshee Scream creates a sonic vibration, acting like a seismic shockwave, with devastating effects on those it hits. Not only do they suffer from physical damage from the force of the blast, but the sonic factor often causes physical injury to their auditory organs, even deafness.

Though Lun is a fighter, and does relish battle, she also shares with Wufei a love of the academic pursuit, and the two of them have been known to spend long hours discussing and debating various academic subjects.
